Women's Music Event 2025

Ambassador, Curator
Since 2024, I’ve been part of the Women's Music Event community as an ambassador and curator, contributing to the technical voting process behind the WME Awards by Billboard Brasil — the largest and only Brazilian award dedicated exclusively to women in music.

Created in 2016, WME has become one of the most relevant platforms for inclusion, education and representation in the Brazilian music industry, connecting artists and professionals through conferences, workshops, showcases and awards. The project brings together more than 400 music industry professionals from across the country to curate and recognize the names shaping contemporary Brazilian music.

In 2025, I was also invited to host the Alternative Music category during the live ceremony in São Paulo, which awarded Ajuliacosta for “Dharma” — a track that resonated nationally by translating themes of self-esteem, identity and female autonomy through a powerful mix of rap, trap and drill.

Broadcast live nationwide by Billboard Brasil, the 9th edition of the awards reinforced WME’s cultural impact with more than 10,000 women nominated throughout its history, nearly 120 awarded artists and professionals, and dozens of exclusive performances celebrating the diversity and influence of women across the Brazilian music ecosystem.
